Utah

Some photos as we passed through Utah and Arches National Park:

Flowering yarrow, red rock, and the La Salle mountains.

Arches National Park's "Manhattan."

Yo, yo—rappin' a redrock tune.

The girls take dad for a hike.

Petrified dunes in Arches National Park.

Dad caught stealing a photo, with balancing rocks in the background.

The rock formations that made Wile E. Coyote and Roadrunner famous?

Self-portrait: daughter and mommy.

Arches' "needles" overlook.

Many shades of red.

Delicate Arch, viewable but not accessible by foot from this side.

But dad and older daughter give it a shot, anyway!

Younger daughter was wiser to stay back and let dad carry her back down the trail.

Double Arch.

beautiful- makes me homesick for the west- though the golden and orange leaves here in Richmond are incredible when the sun hits them just right.

Lovely girls, too.

Leaves---what are those?! Do they grow on those things called trees? ;~) Yes, I miss them, too. We spent a year in Maryland and the sugar maples were just amazing in the fall.
