Neighborhood Holiday Party

A few photos from yesterday's Civano Holiday Party:

Our older daughter plays viola in the local kids' string group.

Here she is concentrating as she plays.

Our younger daughter, right, with a friend.

Some good friends of ours: I love this photo!

After the strings performance: the Civano Community School chorus, which both daughters sing in.

Mostly, our younger daughter tried to hide herself behind the words.

She was not so shy once she was no longer under the spotlight, of sorts.

A highlight of the day was the horse-drawn wagon ride.

Uh oh! Sharing secrets....

Singing holiday songs on the wagon ride.

Not a bad view from the driver's seat, either.

Big smiles from our older daughter.

The short-lived pinata.

R.I.P.

You can see these and about 45 more photos at the Civano Shindigs Blog.
Here's hoping your holidays are filled with friends, unexpected but delightful rides, and candy by the handfuls!

Looks like a fun time. By the way, the first three photos wouldn't load. Maybe Blogger was having issues. Have a wonderful holiday. Enjoy your well deserved break from school.
